MJ-3A program. Prediction of the power/speed curve for high-speed ships
The development of computer program for predicting the speed/power curve for high-speed ships, equipped with different configurations of appendages. The program will also provide information for evaluating the ship forms. This improves the model with respect to previous developments that only took into account the main ship dimensions. Various configurations of appendages can be added to the prediction for the bare hull to obtain their effect on the towing power.
